Dr. William T. Hecht, DC

My path to taking care of others began at a very early age as I listened to my mother, a nurse and father, a fire fighter tell stories around  the dinner table about who they helped that day. I was inspired to walk in their footsteps and serve the community by becoming a health care  provider. I graduated from Gannon University in the spring of 2010 with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and began my graduate education in the fall of that same year at New York Chiropractic College. It was on that campus that I began to understand the true importance of holistic health  care and healthy living. Throughout my education, I slowly began adopting the ideals of healthy eating and regular exercise, while exploring alternative health care. Over time healthy lifestyle choices became habit and before I knew it, I felt better than I ever had in my entire life with greater energy, focus, health, and happiness. Upon  graduation from NYCC in 2013 I had the privilege of practicing Chiropractic in Woodbridge, VA; just south of Washington, DC. At Virginia Family Chiropractic I was given the opportunity to work alongside and learn from some of the best Chiropractors and Massage therapists in the area. I was able to treat and manage an invaluable amount of patient cases and presentations, further developing my skills as a practitioner. In January of 2016, following re-location back to WNY in order for my wife and I to be closer to our family and friends, I was given an opportunity to start treating patients at Disc Doctor in South Buffalo. It felt incredible to be at home, in the city I love, sharing the knowledge and skills I have learned to positively impact the lives of individuals and there family’s in the community that  matters most to me. As of September 2016 I decided to continue working  toward my dream of providing a holistic approach of health care to the community by joining forces with Acupuncture Works in Williamsville. I feel truly grateful to be part of a team that can provide multiple aspects of  health care and wellness to patients and their families all under one roof. I have become committed to spreading the principles and ideals  behind  healthy, holistic living to as many people as I possibly can. Chiropractic care and wellness can change your life, just like it did mine. I encourage you to start living as you were intended to and give myself  and the other wonderful practitioners at Acupuncture Works, the pleasure of guiding you on this journey to true health and wellness that you, your family, and your friends are all entitled too.
