Acupuncture Works is owned and operated by Andrea Schilling, L.Ac., DAOM, a licensed acupuncturist providing acupuncture in Williamsville, NY and Alden, NY, serving patients throughout Buffalo and Western New York. Andrea’s career in holistic health began in 1996, where her early clinical experience created a strong foundation in understanding the body, pain patterns, and the interconnected nature of health—ultimately guiding her toward a deeper calling in Traditional Chinese Medicine and acupuncture.

Driven by a passion for whole-body healing, Andrea pursued advanced education in acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). She completed her undergraduate studies at Daemen College before earning her Master of Science in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the Finger Lakes School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at New York Chiropractic College. During her training, she studied in China, gaining hands-on clinical experience in acupuncture within a hospital setting.

Andrea later earned her Doctorate in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (DAOM) and completed advanced training in herbal medicine, allowing her to offer a truly integrative approach. By combining acupuncture, herbal medicine, and holistic health education, she helps patients address root causes and take an active role in their long-term wellness.

Andrea has a strong clinical focus in fertility acupuncture and women’s health, supporting patients across Buffalo, Williamsville, and Western New York. Using Traditional Chinese Medicine, she works to balance hormones naturally, regulate menstrual cycles, improve ovarian and uterine health, reduce stress, and support reproductive function.

She provides natural fertility support for those trying to conceive, whether naturally or alongside assisted reproductive treatments. Andrea works collaboratively with local fertility centers, offering acupuncture for IVF and IUI support, including pre- and post-transfer treatments designed to optimize outcomes and support the body throughout the process.

In addition to fertility care, Andrea specializes in acupuncture for pain management, autoimmune conditions, and supportive cancer care. Her treatments focus on reducing inflammation, relieving chronic pain, improving energy levels, and enhancing overall quality of life.
