Aromatherapy Massage

What is Aromatherapy Massage?

What is Aromatherapy Massage

Aromatherapy is the use of essential oils extracted from plants, flowers, and herbs which induce relaxation of the nervous system, beautify the skin, and ease tired, tense muscles.

Benefits of Aromatherapy

Aromatherapy massage uses essential oils to promote healing, ease  muscle aches and pains and more. When you receive an aromatherapy massage, the oils will be absorbed into your skin. In addition, the scents you inhale promote numerous benefits as well. When the oil enters the skin, it promotes relief of muscle pain, arthritis, cramping and digestive issues, while benefits from inhaling oil benefit us on a more emotional level, easing the body, mind and spirit.

Aromatherapy Scents

Clove, Sweet Birch, Rosemary and Cypress: Helps promote circulation and aids in tissue recovery after physical exertion.  Traditionally used to decrease muscle and joint pain. Lavender, Chamomile, Vetiver, Citrus and Sage:  Relieves anxiety and promotes a sense of peace. Eases nervousness, irritability and apprehension. Lavender, Patchouli, Grapefruit and Sweet Orange:  Reduces pain and inflammation, calms the mind and promotes restful sleep. Lavender also helps the respiratory system.  Mint & Rosemary:  Enlivens the body and mind by increasing circulation. Aids in pain relief, while increasing circulation.
